Parking permits for the 2016-2017 year were available for pick up this week – I’ve gotten all of the permits for employees in Pharmacy who requested them during the application period in May. The HR team is delivering them to employees and/or to the administrative staff in your Divisions. Expect to receive your new permit soon.
A few important notes:
- Your new permit becomes active on Monday, August 15, 2016. Please continue to use your current permit until then. And make sure to remember to switch your permit and/or move to your new lot (if applicable) on August 15.
- As a reminder, spaces were allocated based on the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Parking Policy [PDF] and your preferences submitted in May. If you did not receive a spot in your preferred lot, please let me know so I can confirm you are the waitlist to move lots if a space becomes available.
- For employees who started after the parking application process in May who are interested in parking for the new year, please contact me to see what is available. Next week is change week and I’ll have information on where we have available spaces next week. I can then get you the necessary form to get a 2016-2017 permit.
Thanks to you all for your cooperation and responsiveness during this process. Trying to manage a limited number of spaces across 10 different lots for a few hundred employees is no easy feat. Your support as this process transitioned to the HR Office this year was very much appreciated!
