Flu Vaccines

This year, Campus Flu Clinics will be held between Sept. 21 through Oct. 6 at eight walk-in locations across campus. See the flu map for locations – click on each location for further information, including clinic hours. No advance registration is required.

In addition, the Student Stores Pharmacy, located on the 3rd floor of UNC Student Stores, and Campus Health Pharmacy, located in the basement of Campus Health, will offer no-appointment flu shots for students, faculty and staff during open hours (M-F 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at both pharmacies and Sat 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Student Stores Pharmacy only). Bring your insurance card. Medicare plans are not accepted. For more information visit the pharmacy website.

Note: Clinics are for University students, faculty, and staff only.

At University clinics, there is no charge for employees on the State Health Plan or for students and employees who are insured through Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Sierra Health and Life, Healthspring, SummaCare, and Medicare Part B, but you must bring your health plan card and your UNC One Card ID to the clinic. Student, Faculty and Staff not on the listed plans can also get a flu vaccination by paying $25. After receiving the vaccination, you will receive a form that can be filed with your health insurer for possible reimbursement. Please be sure to contact your health insurer to see if you can obtain reimbursement.
