Hurricane Harvey support and information session

A Hurricane Harvey support and information session will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 in 133 Rosenau Hall. The meeting will be led by Bill Gentry, M.P.A., director of executive master’s programs and director of the Community Preparedness and Disaster Management certificate program in the Department of Health Policy and Management. Given the devastation resulting from Hurricane Harvey, we would like to provide the opportunity for students, staff and faculty members to come together to share information and discuss ways that we, as a university, can provide assistance to those who have felt the impact of this terrible event, including ways we can connect with the larger university community around such efforts. A number of people in the UNC community have family and friends who live in the areas affected by the storm. We would like to learn more about how we can best provide support to them, as well.
