Inaugural Assessment Day

All UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy faculty are invited to attend the inaugural Assessment Day on Wednesday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Beard 200. Assessment Day 2017 is co-sponsored by the Office of Strategic Planning & Assessment and the new Center for Innovative Pharmacy Education & Research.
The day’s focus is on “Using Data to Improve Student Learning in the PharmD.” After the Dean’s opening remarks, faculty presenters will share key findings from the first two years of the new PharmD curriculum. You’ll discover how well our students are developing knowledge, skills and professional competencies thus far — and consider how we and they might improve outcomes in the coming year. The afternoon will also feature an exciting “lightning round” — a series of 3-minute talks highlighting pharmacy education research projects by faculty, research fellows and PhD students.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for those who respond by 5 p.m. Friday, June 16.
