The purpose of this mini-symposium/networking event is to advance collaborations between the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health by encouraging new and cross-discipline research endeavors.  To take advantage of the complementary strengths of the faculty, sessions during the event will focus on three high-priority topics during three consecutive sessions:

  •   9:00 am  – 11:30 am Collaborative Science on Opioid Addiction
  • 11:45 am  –   2:15 pm Transdisciplinary Research on the Microbiome
  •   2:30 pm  –   5:00 pm Data Science

Each 2.5 hour session will include brief highlights of ongoing research from faculty across all three schools with ample time for networking and discussion of potential research projects.  Please register for EACH session you plan to attend so that we may plan for a venue with appropriate space.
