PLS Nominations Due

February 28, 2017

Phi Lambda Sigma was founded based on the belief that leaders need recognition for their contributions to the profession of pharmacy. The purpose of PLS is to promote the development of leadership qualities, especially among student pharmacists. By peer recognition, the Society encourages participation in all pharmacy activities.

PLS represents the top 10% of student pharmacists in each class that demonstrate service and leadership in the advancement of pharmacy and are of high moral and ethical character.

This year, we are opening the initial nomination process to all student pharmacists and faculty. Please consider nominating up to two (2) of your peers that demonstrates leadership in local, state, and/or national professional pharmacy organizations and has a high degree of professionalism and ethics. Remember that this nominee should represent the top 10% of their class. Self-nominations will not be considered in this process nor may you approach others (students or faculty) to nominate you.

To nominate, please click HERE or copy and paste the following link: https://unc.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5uW3NoksNXZaDiJ

Please complete the nomination form by Tuesday, February 28th at 11:59 PM.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Caitlin Kulig (caitlin_kulig@unc.edu) or PLS advisor, Dr. Persky (apersky@unc.edu).
