The Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s Canvas New Employee Onboarding streamlines the onboarding process by bringing together all required tasks, resources, and training materials in one centralized platform for new employees. Designed for all permanent faculty and staff, postdocs, and temporary EHRA NF, SHRA staff, and faculty, the course ensures a smooth transition by providing easy access to essential information and guiding new employees through their first steps. Onboarding modules are assigned at the time of hire, allowing new Pharmily members to complete key tasks, track their progress, and receive guidance from their HR Business Partner.

The program supports a consistent and engaging onboarding experience, tailored to different roles, to help employees integrate successfully into their new positions.

Below is a link to the Canvas Onboarding Course. Your HR Business Partner will assign sections specific to your employment type at the time of hire, using the email address you provided when applying for the position.

Below is a link to the Canvas Onboarding Course Overview document with a chart that lists the sections and modules assigned based on each section. Supervisors and administrative support can use this document to understand the tasks new hires will need to complete.
