Simulation Education

Simulation education plays an important role in the training of medical professionals of all specializations. Medical simulation goes far beyond classroom and textbook instruction, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real time based on well-developed case scenarios. These scenarios are designed to closely imitate realistic medical situations so students can assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of issues in a safe environment. The goal of simulation education is to improve skills of decision-making, communication, and critical thinking faculties to better prepare students for success as future healthcare professionals.
