The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) was founded in August 2005 with the goal of bringing together students and faculty from different divisions within the school, as well as across UNC. Interactions between students from diverse disciplines related to the pharmaceutical sciences will facilitate the sharing of ideas and perspectives, which is an essential component of a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Interactions through the various activities not only help to foster valuable collaborations, but also often spawn lifelong friendships.
