In her CIPhER Visiting Scholar presentation, Dr. Kristin Janke will share strategies of effective pharmacy teaching and scholarship that she has observed from her many pharmacy school visits, gleaned from her own research, and learned from her work as a pharmacy education research journal editor. You will learn what effective educators focus on (better describing the exact teaching-learning problem), what techniques and strategies they employ (e.g., deliberative practice), how they determine success (unique forms of assessment and evaluation), and how all those aspects connect.
