Dr. Gennady Poda is an expert in computational drug discovery and a Scientific Advisor and Group Leader in Computational Chemistry and Chemoinformatics at the Ontario Institute for CancerResearch (OICR). Gennady is also cross-appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. Gennady helped develop small molecule drug candidates for the treatment of haematological cancers that attracted major investments and partnership from Johnson & Johnson Innovation (C$450 million), Triphase Accelerator, and Celgene/Bristol Myers Squibb (US$1 billion). Coauthor of 59 publications (including Nature Communications, Nature Reviews Drug Discovery, Nature Chemical Biology, Angewandte Chemie) 3 book chapters and 7 patents.
