GPEN 2018

GPEN2018 will consist of two days of scientific presentations (poster and podium) by the graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from the 52 universities who are members of the Globalization of Pharmaceutics Education Network (GPEN), and a Plenary Lecture by Professor Patrick Casey of Duke-NUS Medical School entitled, “Getting G Proteins and Lipids Together: Opportunities to Decipher Biology and Make New Drugs”. The third day will be devoted to six short courses that will be taught by faculty members from GPEN-member institutions and industrial observers.

If you are interested in attending GPEN2018 and possibly participating as one of the short course speakers, please let us know.  Faculty are expected to pay travel expenses to Singapore, as well as housing costs and a registration fee [$350 (USD) per person] to participate in GPEN2018. UNC faculty and trainee participation in GPEN 2018 will be coordinated through the Office of Research and Graduate Education. Let us know by December 14^th if you would like to attend.
