Seminar: Featuring Former Dean William “Bill” Campbell, Ph.D.

October 21, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Save the Date! Former UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Dean William “Bill” Campbell, Ph.D., will visit and speak to the School on Oct. 21, 2019.

Campbell served as dean of the School from 1993 to 2003, and oversaw renovations to Beard Hall, the construction of Kerr Hall, the addition of the entry-level Pharm.D. and the expansion of the School’s graduate programs. Before coming to the School, he served as dean of the Auburn School of Pharmacy from 1988 to 1992, and as president of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy from 1987 to 1988. An avid outdoorsman, hiker and climber, Campbell retired to the Cascade Mountains of Washington where he now serves as a wildland and volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician.

The School’s Bill and Karen Campbell Faculty Mentoring Program, which is supported by a $1 million endowment, was created in Campbell’s honor.
