Carolina Conversations

All UNC faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the first Carolina Conversations of the academic year, The First Amendment and Free Speech at UNC. Discussion will explore what the First Amendment protects, what it does not protect and how it applies in a public university setting. Dr. G. Rumay Alexander, associate vice chancellor/chief diversity officer will moderate. Mark Merrit, vice chancellor and general counsel, will facilitate discussion.
