A workaround for the Lenovo P310 intermittently dropping network connections is to disable power management settings
This requires temporary administrator access.
Under network connections > right click adapter > properties > configure > power management > Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
Under Advanced > Disable the following:
- Enable PME
- Energy Efficient Ethernet
- All of the “Wake on” settings
