Annual Enrollment Reminder
ANNUAL ENROLLMENT REMINDER!
The 2016 benefits annual enrollment period is underway and will continue through Nov.18. Changes to benefits made during annual enrollment will become effective Jan. 1, 2016. Payroll deductions for the health plan will change in December, and all others will change in January.
Employees who need personal assistance with annual enroll- ment transactions can stop by the Office of Human Resources (104 Airport Dr.) during the following dates/times:
Mon., Nov. 16, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tues., Nov. 17, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wed., Nov. 18, noon to 5 p.m.
Employees should come prepared with their UNC onyen and password information. Assistance is available for navigating the benefits eEnroll portal; however, it is important to note that the OHR Benefits staff can neither perform transactions nor com- plete on-line wellness credit activities on behalf of employees.
Star Heel Awards
You may be a winner! HR Staff may surprise you over the next few of weeks. Each recipient will be announced in our newsletter.
Winners of Star Heel Awards receive a certificate from TIAA-CREFF and a $30 visa gift card
And the winners are…
Rosa Mayorga & Kathryn Fiscelli
Rosa and Kathryn were nominated as a team. Their nominator states that Rosa has been instrumental in assisting with the submission of over a dozen grants the past year. Rosa works tirelessly around crazy schedules to ensure all the grants submission go through smoothly. The nominator goes on to say that Kathryn is also one who tirelessly helps with management of grants. Kathryn is instrumental in communicating and coordinating with other institutional officials. Kathryn and Rosa’s effort as part of the grants management team is the primary reason why my collaborators from other institutions always prefer UNC to be the lead PI on joint proposals.
Congratulations Rosa and Kathryn!
